# List Location payment items

Returns the payment items (expense categories) available in the Location: built-in items such as
Product purchase or Team salaries and the Location's custom items. Use an item `id` as `expense_id`
in [Create a Financial Transaction](#tag/Financial-Transactions-and-Accounts/operation/create_financial_transaction).
Income items (`type: 7`) classify incoming money; the other types classify expenses.
The Business User needs Finances access in the Location; otherwise the request returns `403`.
If the Business User's access is limited to selected payment items, only those items are returned;
without such a limit all items are returned.
